Sickness-Holiday

It has been a while since my last post.  I have gotten through sickness.... and a holiday.


Getting through mono.... while I was sick I was not hungry very much.  Last Wednesday I was at 275.  ALMOST 10 pounds!  I was excited until the holiday hit.

When Easter came around, I was like okay.... I can have a free day.  Mom made a really good dinner including a really good dessert.  Um.... Yeah I had some dessert!  And Some CANDY!  AHHHH!

Well, 2 days later I found myself eating the junk again!  But I am stopping NOW!  I weighed myself and I am at 280.  So, I am going to start over tomorrow!  I got off the TRAIN, but I am now back on it!

Well I have homework to do!

Weekend - Birthday- Sick

Over the weekend I had a birthday part to attend.  It was my niece's birthday.  I had literally one bite of cake.  Usually I would have 3 pieces.  I know to say that out loud, it hurts.  Also, that one bite of cake made me sick.  It made my face tingle.... It was so not worth the one bite. 

Another that happened over the weekend.... I got sick.  My sister's kids got their blood tested for mono, and they were all positive.  So, I am still trying to eat right, but I seriously do not have energy to do much else.  I am debating on going to the kickboxing class tonight.  I missed all my other classes today, so I am still trying to figure out if I am up to it!  I have my video that I can do tonight, if I do not go. 

Well, if you have any advice let me know!

Day 2

Trying to get out of an old routine is hard to do!  I have been good as far as the food.  I did exercise today along with the Wii Active.  It was a bit chilly outside to go for a walk or a bike ride.  I did 20 minutes between dancing and boxing.  I like the boxing, it makes me feel tough, and I am trying to work through my soreness.  OUCH!  I think the kickboxing kicked my butt. 

Yesterday I said I would put my measurements up.  I know I am big and everybody else does too but if I have a record of inches, then I will be able to keep track of that too!  I am excited and still PUMPED UP!

I used a piece of yarn, I will get an actual tape measure that is meant for this kind of measuring.  So my measurements might be off a little.  
  • Bust:  52 1/2 inches 
  • Chest: 46 inches
  • Waist: 57 inches
  • Hips: 54 inches
  • Thighs: 29 inches
  • Calves: 17 inches
  • Upper arm: 19.5 inches
  • Forearm: 11.5
I want to update this about one time a week.  That will include new pictures and new measurments.   I still have homework and other things to do.... I can update from my cell phone.  If I use a specific recipe I will make a new page with different things that I try.  This IS my first blog.  If you have any ideas for me, let me know and I will use them.  Thank you for all of your support.  I honestly believe that I NEED your support.  I know that sounds dumb, but I think that if everybody is watching and supporting that I will try even harder.  I love you all!  Thanks for the support!

Kickboxing

So I went to my kickboxing class! It feels good to exercise, but this was the "easy" class! I cannot wait to go to class again.... But I am still nervous about my 2 mile walk tomorrow!! Go me!  Now I just need to get out of bed before 11:00!!! Maybe I will get something done!  Well, if I plan on getting up early I should go to bed!

My Decision & Goals


Today is the day that I have decided that I am going to lose my weight.  I have been fat all of my life, and now I am going to put an end to it!  I am sick of feeling like I cannot do anything.  I am tired of feeling drained, when I have done nothing.  I want to be around for my son.  And to teach my son healthy eating habits! 

I am a single parent from Wyoming.  I have worked in the Oil & Gas Industry for about 5 years until I got laid off!  I got laid off and so I went back to school.  I have been going to a Community College since I got laid off.  Now I am going to be going to UCMT.  Utah College of Massage Therapy.  I have always wanted to do this, and so now is my opportunity.  
 
Here are my stats!
Height: 5' 6"
Weight: 284 pounds
BMI: 45.83 for those of you who do not know what that it, it is Body Mass Index.  It says that I am Obese.  A normal BMI is 18.5 to 24.9.

(I think I will stop at that for now, maybe I will post my other measurements on here tomorrow.)

I am going to post here daily.  Not to show everybody that reads this, but to show myself that I can!  I am posting about eight pictures of myself on here to show what I look like before I start.  These pictures are from the last couple of years.

Things you do for your kids!

Okay so I guess if you wanted to read the rest of blog, then you HAD to look at my REALLY FAT - Fat pictures!

I do not know what "diet/lifestyle" I will be following.  For right now, I am going to stay away from the Devil Foods.  Pop, Candy, Sweets, and BREAD!  And I am going to exercise.  I have enrolled in a kickboxing class.  And on the days that I do not have a kickboxing class I make sure I do some kind of exercise.  I would like to walk at least a mile everyday, but the weather here is very unpredictable.  I just want to make sure that I am moving more than I have been.  For example.... instead of asking one of the kids to do something, I will get up and do it myself.  Instead of walking across the street to the store.... I will walk or ride my bike.  I have Wii Active, and so I will do a routine on there... at least I am working out (and that does work you). I think this is where I need to start for now, and I will work my way up to heavier workouts.   I know that is not a lot to start out with, but I need to start somewhere! 

Well, it is time to go to Kickboxing!  Wish me LUCK!  I WILL NEED IT!!
